Veritas Academy occupies the second floor of the school building of the Sacred Heart Parish, located at 921 North 49th Street in Milwaukee. It is conveniently located near the Wisconsin Avenue on/off ramps from the Stadium Freeway, a/k/a Highway 41. The parish is located on a cul-de-sac, with Doyne Park forming the northern border of the Parish property. Please see the above map.
The school has its own parking lot and building entrance, located just to the north of the church parking lot. This is the lot and entrance used by the Veritas community. Our teachers and students enjoy the bright, spacious rooms, which face south and east. The school gym is available to us on a regular basis for Assembly and other functions. The grassy fields of Doyne Park, which abut the parish property to the north, feature a soccer field, playground and a nearby sledding hill for snowy recesses. The parish grounds feature a shaded area for picnic lunches or the occasional open-air lecture, as well as a parking lot for the usual outdoor games. The facility is a beautiful one and we are most fortunate to call it “home”.
