Why Veritas Academy?

Our curriculum is based upon the Trivium ( grammar, dialectic and rhetoric), the system by which the greatest minds of medieval Christendom were trained. Such a curriculum is designed to provide students with the “tools of learning”, enabling them to more easily master subjects as they mature. English grammar, phonics, written composition, Latin, rigorous mathematics, classic literature, oral recitations, Western Civilization and the American Heritage define our curriculum.

The study of Latin will improve your child’s ability to read, write, and speak English, and learn the Romance languages.

We rely upon Ignatius Press’ Faith and Life series, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the lives of the saints to transmit and demonstrate the beauty of Catholic Truth.

Distinguished by their professionalism, warmth and commitment to coaxing the best from every child.

Your child will always feel “at home”, but will always be aware that actions – like ideas – have consequences.

Your child will enjoy the beauty and timelessness of only the greatest literature, ranging from Beatrix Potter and A.A. Milne in the early years to Homer, Dickens and Tolkien in middle school.

The ideal class size is 12-15 students per class.
